Change is needed to add or remove a co-owner to transfer real property in or out of a trust and gift land and timeshares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Affidavits <\/strong>declare the death of an owner. An affidavit is for real property owned with a surviving joint tenant, by a trust, or by a revocable transfer on a death deed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trusts<\/strong> transfer real property from the deceased owner to their heirs. Trusts avoid probate. Probate is a court-supervised process that can be lengthy, expensive, and public.
